Full-time Accounts Trainee – MPH Accountants & Business Advisors.

You will be joining a dynamic and proactive practice to support our high performing Client Services Team which excels beyond our clients’ expectations. It is now necessary to expand the department and recruit an Accounts Trainee.

Main purpose of new role

The rise of technology within the accounting industry has provided new avenues to explore, allowing us to take on new responsibilities. Gone are the days of manually inputting data and reviewing spreadsheets; with the use of automated technology, we can interpret the results to help businesses predict and plan, transforming us into Business Advisors.

In your role, you will undertake all necessary bookkeeping requirements for a variety of clients allocated to you by the Client Services Manager. You will be responsible for general administration duties, inputting data, advising the Client Services Manager of any issues, and completing quarterly VAT returns for clients, whilst providing excellent service.

Key responsibilities

–         Daily bookkeeping requirements, overseeing companies’ financial data and compliance

–         Preparation and maintenance of VAT returns

–         Keeping all records appropriately updated

–         Managing client liaison through telephone, email and personally

–         Working within required deadlines to ensure excellent customer service

Essential criteria for role
